My Early Life

My journey wasn’t straightforward. After finishing my studies, I was completely lost and unsure of what I wanted to do with my life. At my family’s suggestion, I decided to pursue becoming a marine officer. I worked hard, passed the tests, and officially joined. But honestly, it didn’t take long for me to realize it wasn’t my calling. I often felt like the ‘weakest in the pack,’ and it was a tough experience that made me question everything. It taught me one important lesson – I needed to find my real passion.

Things changed when my wife and I got our first dog. Training our puppy was a whole new experience. I started by watching videos online, and as I worked with our dog, I discovered something incredible – I loved doing this. It didn’t feel like work at all. Encouraged by my wife and those closest to me, I decided to take this path seriously and pursue it wholeheartedly.

I’ve always admired Cesar Millan. Growing up, I watched his shows and dreamed of connecting with dogs the way he did. When I realized my passion for dog training, I knew that learning from Cesar would be the ultimate way to truly grow in this field. It was my wife who first suggested I take my newfound passion seriously, and with her encouragement and the unwavering support of my beloved mother, my dream started to take shape.

Their belief in me gave me the courage to leap. My mother’s encouragement and help made it possible for me to fly to the US and train under Cesar. Stepping into his training centre was a surreal experience. The moment I was there, everything changed. The peaceful energy of the place, the way Cesar connected with dogs and people, and the lessons he shared completely shifted the way I saw the world. It wasn’t just about training dogs; it was about understanding life, leadership, and balance on a deeper level.

One of the most unforgettable moments was when Cesar acknowledged my dedication by adding the Malaysian flag to his training centre. It was an emotional and proud moment for me, representing my country among students from all over the world. That recognition was more than an honour; it transformed me.

Training under Cesar Millan was life-changing. It gave me clarity, peace, and a new perspective on the world. It wasn’t just about mastering skills; it was about becoming the kind of leader who can inspire both humans and dogs to live with confidence, compassion, and harmony.

Today, I run my training services here in Malaysia, focusing on empowering humans to become confident leaders for their dogs. It’s not just about teaching dogs obedience; it’s about building trust and creating a deep, meaningful bond between the owner and their furry companion.

My work has also been recognized through features in Free Malaysia Today (FMT) for an in-depth interview, the Kiku Tamil Podcast where I shared my journey in business, and the Malaysia Kumar Podcast where I spoke about my methods and philosophy. Being invited to these platforms was a moment of realization for me – that I’m truly on the right path. It was humbling to see how my work was being acknowledged and appreciated.

Beyond Malaysia, I’ve worked with clients from Singapore, India, and Australia. While being recognized as one of Malaysia’s top trainers is an honor, the greatest reward is seeing the transformation in the relationships between humans and their dogs. It’s a journey of trust, respect, and love, and knowing I can make an impact drives me every day.
